The Chair of the Institute of Directors for Yorkshire and the Humber, Natalie Sykes has written an article in the Yorkshire Post today, arguing that cancelling HS2would be a kick in the teeth” at a time when “major investment in north-south and east-west rail infrastructure” is needed. She says the Government must commit to completing HS2, warning that not doing so will slow down Northern companies’ growth and hold back inward investment.
