The Telegraph has reported that ministers are retreating from Theresa May’s election promise to resolve poor mobile phone signal and WiFi on train journeys. Digital Minister, Margot James, has cancelled a trial scheme to improve internet and phone service on trains and has reportedly admitted that it will be difficult for the government to fulfil its pledge for good mobile and internet service on all main line services by 2022.
